persimmons are a metaphor for the proletariat masses of this feudal kingdom.
I was going to do a whole treatise on the royal family and the casual
disregard with which they treated the populace to further their own decadent
whimsy, and it was going to have freaky torture implements and seriously
explicit fruit-sex in it, but really what it all boils down to is that
there was a kingdom with an evil king and a beautiful princess and nine
million persimmons, and that's pretty much the score right there. |
